Ask on WhatsAppWhat does ChinaBridge Consult do for me?+
We guide you through the whole process: picking a university and program, preparing and submitting your application, applying for scholarships, getting your visa documents, and settling in once you arrive in China.
What are the basic requirements?+
A valid passport, your highest academic certificate and transcript, a medical examination form and a police clearance certificate. Master's and PhD applicants also need recommendation letters and a study plan or research proposal.
Are there programs taught in English?+
Yes. Many Chinese universities teach medicine, engineering, business and science fully in English. We'll show you which ones match your level.
How long does the application take?+
Usually 4 to 8 weeks from submitting your documents to receiving an admission letter. It depends on the university and the time of year, so apply early.
Can I get a scholarship?+
Many students do. Scholarships range from partial tuition discounts to full awards covering tuition, accommodation and a monthly allowance. We check your eligibility and apply on your behalf.
Do I need to speak Chinese?+
Not for English-taught programs. If you choose a Chinese-taught program, you can take a one-year Chinese language course first. Learning some Chinese helps with daily life either way.
How much does it cost to study in China?+
It depends on the university, city and program. Tuition is often lower than in Europe or North America, and scholarships can reduce it further. Tell us your budget and we'll find options that fit.
Do you help with the student visa?+
Yes. Once you're admitted, the university issues your admission letter and JW202 form. We help you prepare everything you need to apply for your X1 student visa at the Chinese embassy.
What happens after I arrive in China?+
We can arrange airport pickup and help you register at the university, open a bank account, get a local SIM card and apply for your residence permit.
